Chances are I may have to come off Prednisolone and use Methotrexate to help me reduce the Pred dose. Is there anyone using Metho who is also diabetic?
Just very wary as I know one of the common side effects is nausea and if I am sick it sends my sugar levels all over the place.
Anyone out there?

Hi Annie, that is a very interesting question. I am diabetic and am supposed to be starting mtx soon.

I would speak to your rheumy about it. I know you can be prescribed anti nausea meds. I am suprised no one else has answered as I am sure that their must be other diabetics on mtx.

Hope it doesn't have that effect on you.

Thanks, Deb. I think it's going to be trial and error with me. Oddly enough, I have posted on other forums but not had any responses there.
Maybe there's just the two of us?
