Hi, Today I have a feeling of extreme tingling/ichyness on both arms and the pain in my neck feels awful, I could rip the skin of my arms, but their is nothing to show for it, no rash. Feel very tired and the itchyness is making me short tempered Its not the first time this has happened, in fact most days I get it, but today combined with such bad neck pain Ohhh. I'm sorry to moan on I'm sure that the itching that is making me uptight is also why the skin across my neck and feels slightly numb, a bit like and dentists injection comming round. Sorry to go on so much. When I saw myself nacked in the wardrobe mirror, I realisd that my right shoulder dropped quit a bit and my spine on the middle part is not straight, its sort of like an s shape, but not as clear as a real s. I have an appointment with the spinal physio tomorrow morning, and I hope that they can suggest something. So sorry to moan so very much, but I want to clear out my system . I haven't been doing anything out of the ordinary, so nothing to blame. Love Sue

Sue,
Do you have any cream/mosituriser that you coupld put on that would stop the itch? I have a goof cream from Elemis, it's quite expensive but you only need a tiny drop and it lasts for months.
Sending you some cyber (( )).

HI Sue
Hope you are feeling a little better as the day goes on.
I get the tingling and itching on my uppper arms and lower
legs, had it for around 6 months now. Drives me mad.
Hope the appointment goes well tomorrow, let us know
what they tell you and I hope they can help a lot, as you
have struggled on for a long time now.

Hi Sue, it sounds as though your nerves are irritated. I have scoliosis in my upper back and my upper spine and shoulder is how you describe. I also have cervical spondylosis and degenerative disc disease and a haemanginoma on my spine. I think you should get this checked out. The spinal physio should help you and they will contact the doc for you if you are worried.
I hope the physio helps you, I am waiting for similar, so would be interested to hear how you got on.
Take care

Hi I've got some E45 it helped my scare on my hand after the surgery as that got itchy and peeled the top layer of skin, like sun burn! I think it could be connected with a nerve problem as it is a strange sort of itch, I do take anti hestimines as I get a lot of Hey fever. It just drives me mad!!! I have been able to manage without my wrist splints for quite a while, but my wrists are so painful and swollen that I have started wearing them again and they do help a lot, as they stop me twisting my wrists. I'm really glad I'm seeing the physio tomorrow - good timeing for once!
Thank you all so much for the tips and advice and just being their. It really helps just 'talk'. Sorry its so depressing though!
Lots of love Sue0 -
HI,
Had a sleep on the bed, after covering myself with E45, I feel much less itchy now, but it does seem to be a morning thing. I see the physio (spinal) tomorrow so hope she will help.
Thank you for your help, it means a lot, especially when I'm down and tearful, like this morning. Lots of love Sue xxx0 -

There has been no real rain for a long time to knock the pollen out of the air. Our water butt is empty and that holds about 40 gallons, all gone onto the flowers. I have the same thing as Sue with itchy arms and a stiff neck and I put it down to the dryness and fine dust in the air.

Having given the narrative above, it rained this morning. Checking on the water butt, it was full again.
The gods must have heard my entreaty and now everything is very wet.

Hi there
I get this all the time - but worst at night. I have put it down to a drug reaction but being on such a cocktail it is hard to know for sure! I am in Humira, Lefludomide and Predisolone as well as pain killers.
Do any of those match yours?!

Hello, Do you get numbness in your hands, which wakes you up when you are asleep, but goes when you move them? If so this could be carpel tunnel or one of the other nerve related problems. If you tell your GP or Rheummy, they can do a simple test to see if it is and then give you treatment. I had carpel tunnel surgery in the summer and it only took about 3hours from getting to the hospital to going home with stiches! Its cured my left hand, they would like to do my right hand, but I said no at first because being r/handed I thought I'd have a job managing with that hand not in use. When I go back in Nov, I think, I will say yes, as of course I will have to manage and my left hand is much better now. My advice though, is talk to the medics. Good luck, Sue0
