Why do manufacturers of sauces and milk cartons always seal the contents with a plastic seal with a pull off tab so small I usually end up attacking it with a knife or scissors

they make me go argh to amongst some other choice words!!
i find the little ones on the sauce bottles the worst as the bit you are supposed to pull in minuscule, grrr!
but just as annoying are the screw tops that go on squeezy kids yoghurt, i only Buy them now and again and if ellie is home she opens them for me but if not i actually use nut crackers!! i can grip the lid with them and so need less strength!

I can arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh along with you all ..... have you tried to open a tub of Birds custard powder lately?

When it was in tins that was fine, now they have what they say are 'easy open' tops .... but not if you are the first one to need to use the tub. You have to negotiate a silly foil top which has a little tab that requires the strength and grip of hercules to open it. I resort to a sharp knife whilst worrying about the potential trip to A & E this might involve

Hi, I know what you mean, I sometimes break of the thing which is supposed to be pulled to make it easier, and make an awful mess!

I seem to struggle with everything at the moment, especially as my left hand fingers seem useless. My OH is out at the moment and so far I have accumulated one new coffee jar, new cd in cellophane and my new table top fixing pencil sharpener. 'Any one free?'
    'help'

I feel sorry for any of you who live alone, how do you manage?

Hi, I wore a blouse yesterday which went on Ok with the buttons done up, but when I tried to take the b0000y thing off, it had round, pearl like buttons and as my arms don't go up very well, to get it over my head, I had to undo the buttons.... Now I know why I have't worn it this summer.... Thats life with arther! Love Sue

While we may struggle to open sealed foil tops and odd containers, would we complain if they were opened by some out of control kid in a supermarket and all contaminated?

You can get a very good 'gadget ' for those, rubber grip , looks like a question mark , can buy in supermarkets.
