I always ache with changes in weather but then find it settles down after a few days. Like from spring to summer hurt a bit and now autumn's coming in, it hurts too.

It's raining in Derby too today. Glad I'm wearing boots and thick socks, I really feel as though I need the insulation today!

i'm really chilly today, but annoyingly my husband never feels the cold, so i'm glad he's at work now so i can put the heating on for a bit. he won't let me put it on in the evenings or mornings when he's home, sob!

Yes the sudden change in the weather does effect me.And also when the weather is really hot it can make my arthritis worse. When I start to shiver, boy does my R.A get bad!And I feel the cold more than anyone else I know.

    Regards Tk

Yes, I feel much worse during winter and I can tell when it's going to rain because my knees start to hurt.

I have very little to no pain in the summer months.

Hi. Yes it does affect me. Time to heat the wheaty bags up again, hot water bottles etc.
I messaged something like this the other day. It's a good test to see how the medication is working I suppose. I'm already wearing thick jumpers. Must say that I have never felt the cold so much as I do now.
Oh for the days of the hot flushes, I apologise for everything I said about them, please bring them back. At least they kept me warm!!

My OH is so reluctant to put the heating on. It's only October for goodness sake. When you are only on your pensions though, it's a worry.

Im not the only one then aching more with the change in weather, We pay our gas by a card you take to the newsagents, its not a pre pay one but one that you can pay variable amounts towards your gas.

We always try and put a little extra on it through the year when we dont use the heating to try and componsate for the extra use over the cold months.

It's not fair that the cost of heating is so high. I believe that if you are disabledyou should be entitled to a special discount. I know the government gave a little bit of help last year to some, but it didn't help me that much as an arthritis sufferer. I think we got £25 and that was all.
Of course there is the £100 each
I now know why all my joints were jingling at me yesterday. It's raining today and my hands and feet plus other areas all hurt telling me it's going to rain.

I think the quilt will be going on tonight

yes! although with me I can never decide whether the cold makes me worse of I just hate the feeling of it sooo much that I feel the pain more if you know what I mean.

I got the wheat bags out last week and my new wheat filled monkey (although I feel mean popping him in the microwave).
