I,ve recently begun taking Glucosamine & Chondrotin with Rosehip, but would be interested to know what success anyone has had with the different combinations that go with Glucosamine & Chondroitin. I see it is also available with msm. How long do you need to take it before there is any effect. I take mine for OA.

I tried the G/Ch combination for 6mths with no effect, I would give it at least 3mths to test it out ... then I tried the Rosehip by itself and wether its coincidence or not my painful joints seem improved especially wrists and hands... I have been taking it for 2yrs now and intend to continue with it although it is expensive..

Hi, I'v tried the first two things Glucosamine and Csomthing, I used it for a few months and I too didn't notice any difference. Perhaps it works for some people but not for others? Love Sue

    Hi
I've been taking glucosamine sulphate for 3 years now and I don't think it's made any difference to the OA in my knees as they both need to be replaced. Maybe if I had started it before it may have had some affect. I'm continuing to take it because I've got OA in hands and right shoulder. I keep praying that it doesn't go anywhere else.

I haven't tried rosehip - do you take it in tablet form? I would give anything a go if I thought it would help.

Hi, I tried these a while back and found they didn't help at all. :( They may be of use for someone who just has ordinary joint pain but I don't think they are much help for OA and RA sufferers. Breane.

Breane please don't dismiss the RoseHip if you haven't tried it , I have advanced O/A of both hips (one THR), wrists, hands, knees and spine (laminectomy) and I really have to say that my wrists and hands especially have been so much improved painwise since I have been taking the RoseHip , of course the mobility is the same but it has helped my pain immensely, they have certainly helped me to stave off more surgery...

I've been taking G/Ch and G on its own but neither seem to have any affect. You do need to give them a good 3 months trial....but still didnt feel any benefit from them
Rosehip??? Now theres a thing.....I think all of us look for that miricale cure {well not cure but you know what I mean} I might give those a try. I get a little catalogue sent to me and order my G/CH on the internet...much cheaper than boots or H and Barrat so they rosehip might be the same.
    Thanks for the idea

Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment. I have just purchased some Jointace Glucosamine & Chondrotin, with Rosehip,MSM, Ginger,Vitamins B12,D3. Quite a potent combination, if this doesn't have any effect,I don't think anything will! £12.99 per box of 30. With the offer that's £25.98, three boxes of 30 = 90 tablets. 2 tablets per day equates to a 45 day supply.
