first rhummy visit

hi had first visit with rhummy to day had to take meds i am on and water sample they did not look at any of them lol. had bloods done as no sign of flare up to day just as you would expect. but he listened and looked at me asked lots of questions so do feel it was worth it get app. for end of dec. unless bloods come back showing inflation so its the waiting game at least i did not feel he did not belive me so will not mind going back to see him

I'm glad that it was quite a positive visit and you didn't feel that it was a waste of time. When they get the results back, they will be able to suggest more to help you, but at the moment its that horrible waiting game. :roll: Thats the bit I hate most, waiting!
It sounds a a better visit than some people have anyway. Doctors don't always take us as seriously as they should. Love Sue

thanks for got to ask how long they would take lol. was happy to get blood test in before they closed and app. sorted for dec. unless blood shows inflimation then will call me back before so all going ok did not expect to see consultant as letter said might see part of his team

Glad you felt the appointment was worth it, I was wondering how you had got on. At least as you say he listened, and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the blood results. Take care, I hope you feel some progress has been made and can now enoy your holiday. We will miss you in the cafe.

hi chris thanks bet results do not come back before i go away lol. well never mind do not want to change meds before just in case they do not suit any way. been looking at temp over there and and between 21 and 24 so far for next week going as low as 20 at night much better than we r getting so can not wait feel much better now that first visit over and he did not say i was wasting his time (i know i am not but not much to see so did not think he would belive me) silly i know but feel as if load has been lifted off my shoulders :-)

Glad the first appointment over with. That's the worst one. Now you can go away and enjoy yourself.

Remember to make sure that you leave a coat or something warm to come home in it so easy to forget if you have had nice weather

trisher got long trousers socks trainers + flease for coming back in and taxi should be nice and warm am thinking of putting electric blanket on bed as will be night time will feel it worse sun looks lovely today just going to walk in to town will take my coat though as do not think it will be as warm as it looks have great day hope u have sun where u r as well makes u feel better (still ache but what new)

Hi, I read your fleece as fleas, I though I'd stumbled on a new pain relief method or something, but had a picture of the feas hopping round and you trying to catch them. Sorry, I don't mean to insult you, but fleas at this time of year are always a problem with 5 cats, I think I've got them on the brain! :oops: :shock: Hope everything goes well for you.
