HiPage
The sulfa tabs are quite big,but they dont taste offensive so are bearable. However if you have trouble swallowing tablets youd might as well go for the syrup,as long as the effects are the same.
My daughter also has this problem and, as an asthmatic ,found it a problem when she needed extra tabs,in addition to her inhaler.

Hi Page,
I didn't know what it tastes like but the fist lot of tablets I had were the same size and shape as Augmenting the penicillin tablets. They are cylindrical but the next prescription are round, about the same size as paracetamol but deeper. They have the lines so would break in half or quarters fairly well. Syrup may be flavoured? I wonder could you go into a pharmacy and explain the problem and ask could you possibly see the size of a tablet? I hope you can get it sorted and that they work for you. Luv Cris xx0 -
Hello,
They are a bit longer than a paracetamol caplet and wider but the egdes are smooth, mine seem to be coated which makes it easier?

Hi Page,
I just measured them for you....... The ones shaped like capsules are 2.2 cm long and the round ones are 1.5 cm across. Hy glad I didn't guesstimate them, I'd have made them smaller than they are but have to agree the plastic coating does help them go down. These ones are 2 different brands and other brands may be smaller..... I hop its helped and I did try it in inches but it way too complicated xx0 -
Hi
My ones I am due to start taking are big huge orange horse tablets.
The label states you are not allowed to crush them either so probably wont be good for you. I think it may deopend on the brand your doctors surgery may use.0 -

i done as you said and went to pharmacy, she said loads of different types but showed me one kind that didnt look too bad, but on a bad day still dont think i could get even them down
