How long do you have to wait!!

Hey just need a rant!!!
Got referred in April for a new knee!!! Seen surgeon, had my group chat with physios and my pre op that was on 8th August, but still no letter for op!!! Keep ringing the hospital to see if there is any appointment yet but get fobbed off with probably end of September, then October and when I rang a fortnight ago it was November and when I complained it was"Shall we put you on the short notice list!!!!!" But still not heard anything!!!
GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! not happy, in agony and tired of everything!!!!

    No wonder you are just a little cross, to put it politely and mildly. :x :shock: :roll:

    Get in touch with your MP and PALS. You sound angry enough to do that ........ immediately. Strike while the iron in HOT. :x :x

    That iS a very long time to wait - when it felt so imminent at the beginning :?
    Maybe you should do what Elna suggests and take the bull by the horns eh?
    Me I would rant and moan and cry and probably go on waiting :roll:

    Thanks for answering guys, rang the hospital again today and they are now saying anytime from mid November. Have written a letter to my MP, surgeon and consultant, whether that'll make any difference, who knows!!!!
