You can rate your doctor's services online and let them know if you have had a good or bad experience.

Go to: http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/Pages/ServiceSearch.aspx , click on GPs then enter your postcode into the search box and click Search. Scroll down to find your practice, click on the name, then on the right side of the next page look for a box, 'What patients say about this GP practice', click add your views and fill in whichever boxes you want.

You will be asked to confirm with just an email address.

Hi, Thanks Joseph. The receptionist asked if would mind filling in a form when I was waiting and putting it in a sealed envolope, then post it in a box! She said it was some sort of national survey.

Hi, just tried to rate my Doc, was feeling really pleased at the chance to get my own back, but it does not cover Scotland. The thought cheered me up though.

Could I get a sticky on this?

You can submit a username which can be anything, call yourself whatever. You can post as 'Anonymous' if you wish. All they ask for is an email address in case of a query by the website moderators.

    Also, to quote the website:
Personal information: to protect your privacy any information you contribute that reveals personal information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, addresses and so on will be removed.

All that's quoted is your username.

Thanks for that link. I've just filled it in and i'm the 1st one to comment on my practice! I can not fault my Dr but the practice seems to be putting into order. They lost my records once, they were sent off as if i had requested to change practice like when you move home! I had to re-register! Also once my husband had an appointment booked 2 weeks in advance, 2 days before the appointment, they phoned up to cancel as the Dr was on holiday! Surely they knew he would be on holiday when the appointment was made.

    OK rant over
