Anyone heard of Arthronove?

My OH recently brough round a leaflet he'd received through the post about a new wonder drug for arthritis which is supposed to be all natural and work in different ways to what is currently available.

Ingredients are glucosamine (nothing new there), chondroitin (ditto) plant extracts of harpagophytum, ginger and curcuma, plus vitamins C and E, plus selenium.

It says the plant extracts stop inflammation, the vits and selenium neutralise oxidation, and the the other two work on rebuilding cartilage.

Has anyone else heard of this, or perhaps even tried it?
they are offering a free trial of 10 days treatment, all you pay for is p & p.

Sounds too good to be true to me....

Hi, I honestly haven't heard of it, be careful if you take it, you don't want to make yourself feel poorly, although it sounds innocent enough, or pay a lot of money for something that may not help. Can you discuss it with your GP, if you want to take it?
Sorry to sound negative, its just their seems to be so much out their that is supposed to do wonders that it makes me cynical. Love Sue

Yes, I also received the circular regarding Arthronove and decided to take the trial offer which cost something like £4 something. I tried it and thought is was helping so sent away for a further supply which cost £69-the smallest quantity they offer- I posted my cheques (2) on 7/9/2009 and waited, and I am still waiting. I have made four phone calls re this delivery and was told there was a problem with supplies, then the latest one was that it ought to be despatched about Monday of next week. I will let you know if I eventually do receive my order and if it is really helping. All the best, Slinkyred

I also received the leaflet about arthronove offering a free trial with just £4.95 for postage. I checked it out first on the internet. "On one web site 2 people had put comments about it. Both had sent off the £4.95 postage & had not received their trial offer. One had tried to find them by checking the address & phone number which were incorrect. So I binned mine.

I also had a problem re address etc. but eventually tracked them down. They are Health Solutions of Nottingham tel: customer services- 0870 120 1547- you have to say you are an Arthronove customer as it seems it is a shared company or they sell more than one product. Hope this is of help if anyone is trying to contact them.

I recently too received a leaflet, to send for a free sample of Arthonove. Please note, it did say it was on a 'first come, first served' basis, so you may not receive it if you were at the end of a queue. It did seem unbelievable that they claimed that they could cure arthritis, and I imagine this caused a lot of people to apply for a free sample. Because most of the contents of the tablets were what I was already taking I thought it worth a try. (Remembering that I also have to purchase all the other tablets too, so there was nothing to loose). I certainly found relief, especially first thing in the morning, as they claimed. After reading comments on here I was scepticle that the company was genuine. I rang the number provided by one helpful chappie and the company (answering under another name) claimed it took 7 - 28 days for delivery to reach me. I took the bull by the horns, not literally, and order the smallest amount of Arthronove (£69)- that was about a week ago and they have arrived this morning. In the meantime, the free sample ran out and I had to resort back to my old remedies, but now feel much stiffer. I am hopeful that the new dose will do me a lot of good and I will (if my memory holds out) let you know how I get on when I finish this dosage. (I may have to buy more Arthronove, but I would have had to have done that in any case, with my other tablets). I have nothing to loose. I hope this answers some of your queries.

Further to my earlier message, I can now confirm that if you telephone Health Solutions they answer with the name of Windsor Products and you then tell them it is Arthrovone that you are ringing about. My order that was received today (18 November) was despatched by them on 11 November - 7 days in transit, and I received a confirmation email to this effect.

Hi; slinkyred. I too sent for the "Free trial" and then, after they'd telephoned me several times (and dropped the price each time!) I sent for the 2 month supply, which has now arrived. I'll let you all know if it works for me. My history is that I was a long-distance backpacker - carrying tent, sleeping bag, etc and walking 20 miles a day sometimes. This summer I got OA in my knee which stopped me from walking. Since August I've been taling glucosamine and over the past few weeks my knee is no longer so painful and I can now walk 6 or 7 miles with no real problem. Is this the glucosamine or something that would have happened anyway? I'll let you know in 6 months time. Bob.

I am keen to try anything that may help. However I have googled this product and my findings are next to zero. Has anyone got a link to their website?

Hi, I wrote a lot about Arthronove yesterday and lost it all. So here goes again, I have ordered my second lot, after having the original free sample. I find it works very well - whether it does cure, remains to be seen, but I was paying out a lot on other products, so I have nothing to loose. I have been in contact with the company, by telephone, who answer under the name of Health Solutions. You then ask to speak to someone regarding Arthronove, and it is often the person who answers the telephone that can help. I rang them today, to see if my order, posted to them on 10 December, had been posted back to me? They only recieved my order on 21 Dec. but said that my latest order was in the post and recommend that if you want to order, the best way is by telephone, as it's quicker: 08712 201 132 and then pay by Credit/Debit Card - which a lot of folk don't like to do. I didn't want to start on this product and then have to wait for a long time, without tablets, for the next order to arrive, but they have assured me that the order should be with me soon after Chrsitmas, if not before. I hope this info helps. I don't think I have a link to their website. It was when I was looking for it originally that I found this site and promised folk updates. I am free from pain, but Glucosamine and Chondroitin with a few additives did that for me before - so we'll see! It would be nothing short of a miracle if it does cure you eventually - but then I am a firm believer in miracles!

Cheers for the number. I'll ring them after Christmas. Currently trying Cortaflex, half way through my free sample. Best that I stick to one brand at a time. G/C package does seem old hat. A new fresh approach is always welcomed. A website about the product would be even better.

Hi, you want a website? Try [Link Deleted. AB]
which is a description of Arthronove and its claimed benefits. I don't know if "The Peoples Doctor" is a con, but it does seem genuine. It might be worth a try; it might not work but if it does, then £69 is well worth it. Robertsp.
