Thanks skezier much appreciated. Just feeling a bit sorry for myself because I am not used to this pain and just starting to realise what the rest of you have put up with for years.

I promise you it all does get easier. You gt the drugs sorted out and you learn what its 'safe' for you to do and in my case I push it and except the payback It honestly does get easier. Take care oh and hi and welcome to the site, Cris

Dear Grim Reaper, so far this year u have taken away my favourite celebrity Jade Goody,my favourite dancer Michael Jackson,my favourite actor Patrick Swayze & now my favourite singer Stephen Gateley. Just so u know,my favourite twins are John&Edward.

We were sitting round the large table at my art class, busily painting away, when the conversation turned to coping with pain. ( several of us have arthritis) We discussed different ways of distracting our minds away from pain; someone said music worked well for them, someone else said reading, or watching TV. There were all the usual distractions.

There is one very quiet, rather shy lady, who doesn't usually say much at all. Suddenly, she stopped painting, and said, " Sex :!: Don't forget sex :!: "

Everyone just looked in stunned silence :!: It was very funny. You had to be there :!:

i must admit when in pain my other half thinks it will help but i not convinced when in pain not even on my mind
