DOODLE PAD

Quite often i find myself awake at strange time of the night, either due to not being able to settle (like now) or the shift pattern i do at work. No one is online to chat with and i just mooch about on the computer flittering between here, ebay, facebook and twitter, not doing anything on any of the sites! I quite often browse the internet or ebay but just look for the sake of it, for something to do. I do other things also like crochet, knitting, watch tv etc, but sometimes just sit at the computer but not really doing anything.
So i've started off a 'doodle pad' on the forum. Feel free to just witter on about anything and everything. Maybe a thought you just had that doesn't really fit into any other thread, maybe jot down something that makes no sense whatsoever. When you find yourself at that 'fidgety' stage, maybe in a bit of pain and can't settle, maybe just bored or fed up, just pop in here and wittle on all you like!

Big argument going on between Stephen Fry and a 'nobody' on twitter. Nobody called Stephen boring. Stephen suffers with bipola and nobody caught him on a bad day. Alan Davies got involved and started swearing at more 'nobodys', seems everyone got involved. Wouldn't surprise me if it makes the papers!
For those who don't know, bipola is a manic depressive order.

Has anyone tried a slanket (also known as a snuggie)?
It's a blanket with sleeves in it so if your reading,on the computer, eating etc, your hands are free without having to take your arms out from under the blanket! Hubby and i have been thinking about getting a couple, saves turning the heating on just yet!

Still haven't been to sleep yet. Going to make myself a cuppa and watch GMTV while finishing off my crocheting.
Dexter Doodle, you feel free to doodle all you want, after all, it's named after you

Hi Carol
I liked your lists, especially the positive one. It has given me an idea for a new thread, because writing things down can help you to focus on the good things.
Keep up the good work.

Am i the only night owl?
Ah well, i'll go diwnstairs and join hubby watching Battle of Britain DVD while crocheting. Finished my baby blanket by the way, that will be listed for sale on ebay tomorrow (well later). Making another one now...........could say i'm hooked!
