How do you know if the pain is related to Arthur or not ?

I seem to be in agony the last few days. Up to now my main pain has been in turning my neck to the left and down my right arm. However the last few days I seem to have pain on both sides. Although every little twitch in my right arm from the shoulder to my fingertips has me cringing due to the pain. It has been so bad I've even cried. My left isn't as bad but it still hurts.
Lately I seem to be getting very short of breath, and every night my eyes swell and become itchy. Now these are probably not related but I still need to ask.
I'm not 1 for going to the doctors, apart from when I need my anti d's, and don't want to be classed as an hypocondriac (that's my mum). But how do you know if it's Arthur related or not?
Up to now all I know is I've got OA in my neck due to an xray and have was refared to physio of which i've had 3 sessions so far.
I've given up work as sometimes my arms give way and I worked nights stacking shelves in a bum smacking supermarket. I have trouble lifting anything to waist hight these days never mind over my head.
Anyway I seem to be waffling, (I'm good at that)
All I take for the pain is Ibuprofene at the doctors sugestion, and they don't seem to touching the pain at the moment.
If you get this far give yourself a shiney :P

Hi Carol
I have called in to collect my shiney, thank you. As you have OA in your neck it is more than possible that it will affect your shoulders and arms.
The eyes and shortness of breath may not be connected but does it matter whether it is or not? It is up to the gp to give a diagnosis. If you are in pain and worried about health issues that is what the medics are there for, earning money every day. We all pay for this service. You are not a hypochondriac, this is about you, not your mother.
I would make an appointment if I were you as you are concerned and quite rightly too.

the eyes soreness is off the ra is it a gritty feeling.
the shortness of breath will be the meds or being over weight
(as am I)
so you need sorting out at the Docs.
any shortness of breath needs checking out.
