    Hi Sally

I applied for mine last year and was successful. You may be too. Just take your time filling in the forms (you probably will have to fill in another form) and answer the questions in the worse case scenario. Do you have OA or RA? Since I applied for mine I've got worse.

Good luck and I hope it goes well for you.

thanks Sharmaine, i had to fill them out over the phone, i went into my job centre this morning only to be handed a phone number and be told that they dont do them in person now, its all done over the phone.
the lady was nice enough tho'.
i already get DLA high rate mob and low rate care, but i left work on Friday due to my OA and the fact that my hip replacement that i had in Jan has become a failure, so it needs to be redone, i will find out more on Thursday.
well fingers crossed for a good result, its good to hear that you already get ESA, think you are the only success in the country !!!!
will let you know how it goes, take care, Sally.xx :D

Hi, I've just had the medical form through, at first reading I thought I would rather not claim than fill in all the rubbish and then get the rejected and go to appeal.... I would't mind, but I've been retired by the council and had a doctors report that said I was unfit for any post at the council, so they released my full pension! Do they think that the GPs, the hospital and the Occy Health docs are all trying to pull a fast one? Whoops, sorry, I'm off on a rant again - on your thread!!!

I hope it goes well for you and that they sort you out quickly. If you have to send in any documents, make sure you keep a copy, they lost my P60 and medical certifcate! Good luck, love Sue
