Hope you get on ok, its a good idea to take your hubby with you, 4 ears are better than 2 when it comes to remembering what has been said afterwards!

Hello, I hope you get on well at the docs tomorrow. Its good that your husband can be their with you, not only is it a question of giving the doc his view of how you are, but it will help you to remember things and feel more confident. Also its good to include your partner, it helps me when my husband comes with me. After all they have to go through it with us.
Good luck and I hope you both get on well with the doc.
    Love Sue

    Hi Wendylou
Just wondering how you got on? As Misty said it really helps to take someone along. I think they take you more serioulsy then and yes you might be able to remember what GP said!
Good luck if the apt is later :)

Hi all I went to the doctors and I told him just how I felt and he said about the depresion and the lethargy that it is natruel that I feel like that with the pain plus not being able to get round like I used to, he is sending me for some more x-rays on my hips, pelvis, and my knees as lately my left knee is swollen and painful and feel as though its going to give in on me,so it looks like the o/a is in my knee's as well as my hips  oh happy days, and also he has refferd me back to the physio another one this time but that's another story i will tell you about another time as I think I am going on a bit, he also has put me on some antidepressants to help me  sorry to go on but I said i would let you all know.I feel as if i am getting somwere know at last.bye for know. Hi Wendy

First of all you are not going on at all - we all wish to know how your appointment went and it would appear that it was a beneficial visit. I am so pleased for you. It makes all the difference doesn't it, to be listened to and the gp showing a genuine interest and understanding of how you are feeling and why. Let's hope you do not have to wait too long for the xray appointment or the physio one either.

Thank you very much for letting us know and please keep us posted and remember we are interested in your wellbeing so never think or say you are "going on".

    Chin up,

    Luv

Thanks Elna and all I can go for the xrays anytime at any Hospital so thats ok, and my physio my doctor made the appointment online while i was there so I go on the 24th of this month so thats all ok. I told the doc about the bad experiance i had when I went to an assessment earlier in the year, I don't know if you remember when i put it on the site but he said that should not have happened he was disgusted. anyway as i said thanks for letting me go on I feel as if i have all new friends who care. love to all and keep well.Wendylou xxx
