I wonder if anyone can help as the doctors havent for nearly 4 years
I have had a pain in my fingers that now affects my toes also.
Symptons: Burning pain under nail beds and finger tips, like chilly / acid. It comes and goes. Some times its hers for a few weeks then goes for a few weeks, it comes and goes through the day.Nothing takes the edge off the pain. Fingers tips burn hot and look purple, blue white in that order and the skin appears tight over the edges.
My sister has scleroderma and lupus.
What ever can it be?
I can't breathe with it, I can't drive or wear shoes or type....etc
I have sever rheumatoid arthritis and self inject Methotrexate.
Any thoughts are welcomed.
Thanks

Hi Nusrat,
I am so sorry to hear you are in such pain. It must be horrible and not made any better by the fact that the docs are drawing a blank.
I hardly dare offer any suggestions if the docs cannot because that is their job. Have you been referred to a neurologist?
I am pretty sure it cannot be raynauds syndrome because the docs would think of that one. Do you have a vitamin B-12 deficiency perhaps, but you would surely have been checked for that....
I do hope that you can be referred to someone who can throw some light on these symptoms that are obvously causing you great distress.

Great tips re the Neurologist and Vit B, I will follow them up.0
