    Hi Jan

I hope this does not confuse you even more. Cervical spondylosis is a 'wear and tear' of the vertebrae and discs in the neck. Osteo arthritis is also called wear and tear by some medics.

Hi Jan,in a quick answer yes.
Osteoarthritis is the same thing.i have OA & cervical spondylosis. Its just another way of DXs OA some where else.Spinal.
    I also have Fibromyaglia.costochroritis(sp) & a prolapse disc at L4/L5.
Im early dx of fibro but 2yrs plus on OA(some times they DX it as wear & tear)It all gets so confusing.
But the Fibro did explain all the wide spread muscle pain.CFS & IBS.
Ive changed meds too, gabapentin,Tramadol.then carried on with amtripyline, diclofens & amtripyline.
