Looks like i got to go to appeal. the point system makes no sense at all and there are many things marked no when they are yes i will take this further not surprised at this as man never listened to me in office and they have it in for us :x :x :x . I was upset when first read it but have forced self to eat and carry on with what i was doing as it paniced me at first. I just have to find the right people to ask to help me with the appeal.
I know many are going though this but this really is a bitter pill to swallow. also my place the light house shut and my courses have gone by way. My writing group are hopeing to keep togeather and looking into a venue or doing it at each others houses so something still will remain it seems everything i have put into place for my self is falling apart but for now christmas is looming and my health and family are more inportant. I cannot plan anything as i do not know my money situation. sorry for post but it is making me feel better writng it down thankyou for reading from joanne

You`ve got the right idea Joanne. Family, and health first, then fight the bug.....`s!

I can see how you would feel that everything you depended on is falling apart, but you will find the strength to start new activities. You have discovered too many new things about yourself to give up now. Glad that you will continue with your writing. It`s a great outlet, and you are good at it......Ange.

    Hi,
I Hope that you find a way of coping and making them pay for you. Its just not right! Have you been through all the appeals you can? Can you sign on if you'r not given any money, they may let you do that and not push you too hard to go looking for work. Thats all I can think of, to help. Sorry.

It must be very worrying. I'm going to have to fill in the medical form for ESA, I got it on Monday, yuk, I felt tempted to through it in the bin, but I would be hard up if I did, we could cope, but it wouldn't be fair on my o/h. If I fail, I suppose I'll sign on. The only trouble with that is I'm having physio and waiting to go on a pain course at the hospital, and they said I should'nt be working! Mad World! At least we are all in the same boat!
    Love Sue

I have got to put appeal in . I have contacted welfare rights which helped me before. The lady was in meeting who helps me so will wait until tomoorrow and she will ring. I will look into every avenue open to me. I know the drop in benefit will be an anormous shock i am on incapacity and got 75 pounds then it went up to 96 and im on low rate dvla
. I am not as bad as some people but i cannot drive due to my eye condition and using computor has deteriated them as i was told never to use them more than 2o min a day due to eye strain so working with them out of question would end up blind also i have been told useing conpuers is course of neck and hand carpol tunnel prob.
I have had a break away and the rest has inproved things. The doc said no long term damage has been done so far but will do if i continue. The doc said this will go in report if they right to him. This rules me out for all office computor work. I cannot do pysical what else can i do . if you ask me i dont know and ive put this to docs they dont know either so you tell me. thanks for reply from joanne

Can the doctor write you a report to present to the ESA people, when you go for the medical? Its worth asking, I would think, then you would know they had got it. Just a thought, I really hope you can get sorted out quickly, just to stop you worrying.

    Hi
I'm in the same state as yourself. I saw my Rheumy consultant today and he was disgusted that hey had stopped it and said that I was definitely worse. Can hardly walk and everything flaring up again. I am certainly going to appeal again.
Does it really make any difference if you get someone else to do it for you, like someone from CAB.

I don't know from experience, but the Advisor at the Jobcentre said that it can, as they use the form of words that the DWP like and understand. It may be that we undersell ourselves so that we look better. Oh I don't really know, its one thing looking out for people commiting fraud by claiming, but quite another when making ill peoples lives much harder and attempting to take away what little we have. I'm sorry for ranting on. I hope you get someing sorted. I've just got my form, I'm not sure whether to take my own advice or just fill in the thing with crossed fingers! Good Luck Love Sue

    Joanne and Joy :(
    I am disgusted :x
This is not waht it is a supposed to be about is it? Thought it was to stop the cheats...
I am so sorry but yes Sue is right it is about them knowing the sort of language and jargon so you need to get help with it.
Let us know how you get on if you can
    Thanks

When I appealed the 2nd time, they contacted me to say that they would get in touch with me in December to see if there was any improvement and if there were any changes. Then and only then can I re-appeal. That was what I was told. Don't ring us, we'll ring you.

    Hi Joanne
I've been reading on this forum for a while now and this topic seems to come up a lot. It's so unfair that we have to fight for things we really need. Make sure you get help with your appeal if you haven't already, try CAB.
