what would you do?
i know there are little things i wish i could do, nothing massive, just the things most people take for granted!

i'd get down on the floor and play with sarah,
i'd help at school because ellie would love that!
i'd go for a long walk in the country with my hubby and my girls.

not sure what else, but i'll have a think!

    pick up my daughter and swing her around
    play tennis with my son
    do lots of naughty things with the OH :oops:

    luckly i can, on a good day, still do some of these things.

    and open every bottle or jar that i saw :lol:

    i would swing on the bars,do a few flips,jump on the trampoline,teach my kids to do some gym(couldnt learn much in a day),run about,dance to my fave tunes,ride my vespa that is sitting
    neglected in the garage,catch a train without worrying about gaps,seats,toilets and escalators!

    i've never done paintballing, always fancied trying it though!
    as for sex, hmm, if i'm arthur free does that mean i'm drug free? otherwise my sex drive left the building when i started on the meds!!
    it would take the entire ann summers catalogue to get me in the moods lol!

    It's funny but I feel really excited just thinking about all the possibilities and yet I am not sure what I would actually do if it came to it! :lol:

    -I think I would go wild for the whole day and run and jump and dance around with abandon!(possibly in the nudie!)
    -I wouls spring out of bed looking gorgeous and feeling refreshed!! :shock:
    -I would dive bomb into every sofa/bed/chair I saw and bounce on a trampoline
    -I would run up and down the stairs just because I could
    -I would have a lesson in break dancing 8)
    -I would spar with a great big muscley guy and show him how tough chicks can be
    -I would blink and be at the beach so I could catch a few waves and surf and body board like I used to
    -I would write a letter to my Gran in my best writing which is just like hers
    -I would not sleep for the whole day and get up really early and go to bed really late
    -I would have loads of people come over for lunch and supper and cook masses and masses of courses from scratch and look like a domestic goddess
    -I would finally get my motorbike licence
    -I would walk on cobble stones and shingles fearlessly!
    -I would spend alot of 'quality time' with my hubby! :wink:

    Ahh, one day.... :D

    Oh were to start :wink:

    1) Predictably I'm afraid shear the sheep properly so they don't have all the other sheep pointing and laughing at them :lol:

    2)Fence the lodges away from the car and doors so they don't do their car valerting and window cleaning services :shock: They just aren't very good at it and that’s with practice :roll:

    3)I used to ride to intermediate dressage and I should love to ride one more test, free of arthritis and able to feel as one with the horse.

    i'd love to have another go at horse riding, not sure if i'd be brave enough though! i got thrown off a horse when i was about 14 and dislocated my hip, thats when my health started going down hill!
    but i never got the chance to get back on, so, yes i'd like to maybe ride again.
    i'd also like to have lots of energy, you know, get up and feel alert and not tired or achy!
    oh, if only!!

    Like you, Sue, I'd love to wake in the morning feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I'd dance and sing and dance and go horse-riding and dance.........I'd also like to be sure I have the strength not to smack my neighbour one when she sees me struggling up the steps and tells me 'it's only to be expected at our age' she's ten years older than me!

    not all of once but I have Iceni and Alabama who would love to escort you round the estate. I'm planning a sponsored ride soon I hope for A.C. I haven't rode for 4/5 years after a fall. and not being able to get on and off my self I just didn't want to show myself up but now I think what the hell If I want to do it I will regardless and when I'm up there sitting in my saddle on my beautiful girlie I feel like a queen.

    Hi,i'd quite like to spend the day fishing with my OH,its so relaxing,sitting, basking in the sun,not a care in the world.A flask of tea & a cheese sarnie,waiting for the big 1 to bite.sharing something that we both enjoyed.
    But me bones wont let me sit there & to think befor arthr i'd go in all weathers,early mornings & sit til the sun went down.
    I can just about manage half a day on holiday now,I cant carry the gear as i have to use crutches for any distance & early mornings are a thing of the past.
    To think i was a biker 500cc,worked full time & had soo much energy.Now im a wreck.Bikes been sold,fishing once a yr & i dont have a social life. OH Arthr youve got a lot to answer for,if i ever catch you :x

    this the second time i have been back to this and to tell the truth i am not sure unlike many of u i have this mild and am in remision at the moment still stiff and slight swelling but the pain gone. what have i done since been so much better well enjoyed days out had lovely walks and been catching up on cleaning and been sleeping much better . so i just wish u all u wish for pain free days and to be able to get out and about

    I would like to do the Race for Life. Whenever it is shown on tv I think back to the time I did it myself about 6 years ago now. I was going to do it the next year, but I was having problems getting my feet to work. I think that was the start of my arthritis, it started in my hands and feet and I couldn't understand how my feet would literally freeze to the spot as if I hadn't the strength to take steps. Strange.
    Anyway, if I had an arthritis free day, that's what I would do. Never know, I might make it one year again.
