Well got to M6 toll road.............making good progress...............raining like hell................just dropping in dark

70 mph in lane 3.............................windscreen wiper stops..............drivers side only.......................passenger side happily pushing even more water over my side...............

Now that is really really scary.................glad I was wearing brown trousers (Oh dear).

Couldn't see a bloody thing..................carefully madee my way over to hard shoulder..................everything looks OK...............It just doesn't work......

Managed to get to Services, and Call recovery service...

Guy was there in 15 minutes...............In true mechanic style...............started pulling things to pieces...............

Now heres the rub....................A blooody 'ball joint' had worn out on wiper motor lever.......AS If my owns balls joints ain't sha%%ed out enough........

He couldn't fix it so suggested he called a recovery lorry.............." Could be 2 hours wait mate"...................

In a flash.......I suggested he reposition passenger blade to cover as much drivers side...................worked a treat...................So here I am....home and safe......................

Ho hum!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evennig all....................Rob x

    Hi Rob

I think you had better have a good rest now, and recover.

Living dangerously aren't the words I would use.

Only 70 mph on the M6 Toll? Crazy!

I use it on a regular basis as I have a pass.

    HI ROb,

glad you are home safely now. Isn't it typical that it is never the passenger side that goes .... and it never goes when there is a trickle of rain, but a ****!

b etter have a rest tomorrow!

    Hi

What is kitchen next time roll? Does it hover about waiting for you to spill something? I can only buy kitchen this time roll where I live.

'Rain-X' cleans and beads water on windscreens, try halfords or any large car accessory place.

Spray/wipe on and spread with kitchen roll, that's it.
