my hand are so painful.

Hi

Can anyone help with a problem with hands and fingers.

I was put on Sulfasalazine. I was up to 6 a day.I started getting very severe headaches I had an appointment to see the doctor and blood taken.

I could not go as I had a bad headaches lasted 3-4 days. They were rung and told I could not make it.

To cut this story short the doctor rang back later, I told her how I was and when I said how I was getting migraines......she told me to stop the Sulfa.

The palms of my hands are bright red and puffy. My fingers are the same.This is not the one I had the op on.......I've also got pain in my jaw and ears and neck.

I've never been like this before, I'm feel so tired but cannot sleep.

I have tried ice cubes, but I is making the cramp worse.

    Call whoever you think may help you....I know I would

    Is it me your talking too. I'm the only one about. There is an emergency number they give you to ring at rheummy number.

    Hi Trish....

    If you've got an emergency number, and you feel the need to ring it........go for it.............Its what its there for....

    I might have to get it from home as I'm not there. I just wondered if you can ring them at weekends.

    No one can do anything here because they can't prescribe anything drugs for the RA.

    Just wanted to know if I could find tips from people to till Tuesday.

    Are you up for good, or going back to bed? :D

    Hi Jan

    I have been rough all night, someone is coming to get my keys and go to my home.

    I think it is maybe a bad flare because they took me off my meds because of these migrains i was getting.

    cant they get u a number for your rhummy try warm water till then or hot water bottle if cold did not help heat might but phone rhummy u need some one that knows what they r talking about

    That's what I though Val,

    I don't think the consultants work over the weekends though, you cannot blame them can you.

    As far as I can remember it is for weekdays. I'm sure that is right.
