Congratulations
My car was with me within two weeks of getting the award.
I opted for a Toyota iQ- the smallest car on the road, it meets the needs that I have
Enjoy getting about again.0 -
Hi Vicky!
Thank you for letting us know. If anyone deserves it, you do! Thank goodness they saw sense in your case. They would have been blind, deaf and dumb not to have arrived at the conclusion, you were worthy of the allowance.
Happy motoring again,
Love

FAB news, its almost a sense of achievement and that someone does listen isnt it. well done you....
as for the car, yep, mine too was with me within 2 weeks, i opted for a Kia Ceed BUT i think i would have liked something maybe a bit higher, purely on the fact that when i have been walking round a couple of shops and you are at the point of kissing your car when it comes into view (!!) i struggle to get into it as my right leg has almost seezed and gone stiff and wont bend to get in, i hope you see what i mean because this i feel is an important thing to consider, dont fall in love with the first car you see, get in both sides as you might be the driver AND passenger at some points, also try the rear seats. the Kia is great coz the doors open increadibly wide, i believe a third wider than most, and this is standard. motability is a great site, is shows all the cars and how much they cost. good luck in your search, and once again WELL DONE MOST DESERVED. love from Sally.xxxxx0 -

Hi and congratulations. You know you deserved it but just gotta keep on at them DLA peeps till they get the message. It is all hit and miss isnt it?But should encourage others to keep fighting.
We have an automatic but as a mum to 5 kids I had to get a family car.2 daughters grown up so only visit when not working(which isnt often). We have a Nissan Note as the seats were the comfortable height for my dodgy hip.Not too low not too high.Make sure you try a few out if possible as it has to be comfortable and safe.
All the best
