Having a Me Day

Hi
Got up this morning and saw the horrible weather, so decided to have a Me Day today. There's a hundred and one jobs I could be doing, but I've decided to ignore them. The world won't grind to a halt if I don't do them. I've decided to go into hibernation and I'm not setting foot outside today.
Started off with a fabulous long soak in the bath, with lots of bubbles, It was too early for wine; otherwise that would have been even better.
Then I came on here, and posted a message or two. Read the paper over a cup of freshly ground coffee ( lovely aroma )
Stroked the cat for a while, and told him that he is the king of our street. He is very keen on his status among the other cats, so he has to be reassured on a daily basis.
Had a light lunch, so not much work involved.
Now I'm back on here, and then going to do some painting ( pictures, not walls) I'm painting a Tuscan farmhouse with olive groves in front of it.
Might read a book later, watch Strictly and the X Factor
Lovely lazy day :!: :!: Great :!: :!:
What do you do on Me Days :?: :?:

I am having a sort of me day.I have another killer headache but has eased now but I have stayed in bed.OH took the kids trampolining for a hour or so so I had a nice sleep. Now he has gone to watch football with his mate and I am alone with all 3 kids. They have been told to be good because mummy is not well.We shall see.....
Dinner and cuppa brought to me in bed.I did have to get up once to do the washing up and a few chores.
Usually me days are when the kids are at their nans and we can watch T.V my autistic son hates the telly so have to turn it off when he is home.Lovely hot shower and a scrub down by the OH and a take-away so no work!

Hi Rob
Yes, Me Days only work when there is someone to have an Us Day with as well. Don't try to explain anything to yourself. It was meant to be, so go with the flow.
Note to readers; Rob isn't having his Us Days with me, just to clear up any misunderstandings :!:

Looking deep int my crystal ball....ah yes.. the clouds are clearing.. I see a woman... some-one you have recently met on a forum.. I see you visiting her, there is passion and love and a bit of rumpy pumpy, hence the smug self satisfied grin on you face. I see a long tem realtionship, a moving of abode, and maybe a wedding... Cross my palm with silver, no make it gold, at $10070 an ounce its a better deal
Oh Rehab
Is that a proposal???? It's all so sudden! I'm overcome with emotiom! I don't know what to say! Was it the red hair that did it ??
