Hi all,

As well as my hip and associated problems and aches and pains. I have now discovered that I have damaged my right shoulder/neck. i have always had problems of cricks & stiff necks and put it down to the way I sat at my desk at work. The physio has now confirmed that this is the case and I have damaged it.

And don't laugh I have a sore bum bone, it hurts when I sit or lie. The doc has told me that it's a number of reasons for this, I have a prominent bone, I am thin so there is no fat to barrier plus because of my hip problems all the muscle which would have protected it has gone.

It does make me a bit of a fidget as I can't lie on my left because of the hip op, can't lean to the right because of my shoulder and when I sit directly on my bum it hurts.

I am laughing really.....

Anne

    Hi Anne,

Poor you! I have sore shoulders (clicking away like no-one's business) and am unable to lie on my side in bed. Arthur's playing up in my ankles too which makes it impossible to lie on my back as well. Only thing left to try is hanging upside down from the ceiling like a bat!

As you said, only thing left to do is laugh!

Hope you get some relief soon,

Hi I know what you mean, I fell down the stairs years ago and since then, if I sit on a hard chair for long ohhhhh it hurts. My shoulders hurt too and make an awful noise when I move, they feel just like someone has got hold of an arm each and tried to pull me in two!!! and I have the problem in bed of not lying on my side!
Gosh, I feel as if my bodies falling apart sometimes. Oh well... Sorry you have so many aches and pains, hope the physio helps a bit. Love Sue

    Hi all,

The problem with the bat idea is that I have no strength in my legs! Jan, I liked the idea of the padding...Doc did mention a round cushion or positioning one of either side of my buttocks.

What next I wonder? 39 with the bones of a 75 year old.

I will keep laughing because if I start crying I might not stop.
