Hi folks
I started humira a week ago and now I think I may have a chest infection or pnumonia. This happened when I was on enbrel. I feel dreadful, fever, sweats, cough, phlegm, runny nose. Has this happened to anyone else and did you have to stop taking humira permanently. The humira worked immediately for my RA so I really don't want to stop it although I know you have to stop it if you get an infection.
Take care

Sorry to hear you are so unwell. I hope you are seeing your GP today for a check up. Sounds like you may need some antibiotics. Do let us know how you get on and take good care of yourself.
good luck

I have been on Humira for nearly 5 years. Have had chest infections twice and each time stopped the Humira while I was on antibiotics. As soon as I was better I resumed the Humira. You must see the doctor and start antibbiotics as soon as possible.
Hope you're soon better.0
