Pixie in pup Update......OOOppps

Well I knew she was further on than I thought.

I was away from home last night. But yesterday evening when I fed the dogs.......all looked OK..

Put then in kennel, and all was well.

Got home 1/2 hour ago.....

Looked at calendar..............and realised Pixie is due tomorrow...

Oh balls.............

Been to let dogs out.................

Holy duck Batman......................

My 3 dogs are now 9...........

She's given birth to 6................................yeeeeehaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Who's the proud father.

In a past life (it's along story) I had a pet labrador and she was pick of the litter. So I had her father who came from Sandringham.
They were beautiful dogs.

Have you got homes for them all?

Enjoy them while you can I bet it's hard work and costly getting vaccination done. I wish I could see them. I've gone all goosebumps thinking of them. Enjoy

They are cleaned and dry now....................

All got a teat to feed on.

6 little fat bellies.

And Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh the sweetest smell on earth......

Puppy breath.............

Pixies been out and relieved herself, had a good drink and a small feed....

Even if I'd been here nothing would have been different....

I believe in letting them get on with it all....

If a pup isn't strong enough at birth.........well its better not surviving

I'm not surprised at the colours...........good selection there eh??

If Pixie's settled I may try and get some more piccy's, if not...........well we just have to wait...

Just been to check everything OK..

Onne does not look good at all....

Liver and white dog.. Doesn't seem to be feeding..

Not sure if its jaw is deformed.........

I'll spennd some time tryinng to get him to feed.

Thats about all I can do...

They have put the link back up. They are beautiful. How is the little one who seems on their own? Is it doing any better?

Does Pixie let you touch them. Oh Rob there lovely. Is she feeding them all?

Can you do anything for the little one. Would come and baby sit so you could rest for a while.

Cris is an expert with newborn animals that are not doing too good.

Does that make you Great Grandad, now or just Grandad

Been inn kennels sinnce 3.30............
Poor little creature.................just won't/can't suckle.....
I've had Pixie in house with me and the onne pup, trying to get it to hold on to a teat....no success
Tried feeding with a 'dropper'.......annd puppy supplement...
Its just not 'doing'.

I can't bring myself to do whats needed....

Pup never made it throught the night....

I was up until 5.30 with it......

I've had a good look at it....

Cleft lip annd palete........thats why it couldn't feed...

It never stood a chance.....

Other 5 are doinng well..

Pixie looking good..everything going back into place ok
