Dear Del
Thank you for your posting on the forum. To explore if a particular piece of equipment would be beneficial to you it is best to speak to a physiotherapist about the type of exercise that would benefit you personally. You can ask your doctor to refer you to a physiotherapist. Exercise can be very beneficial for people with arthritis as long as it is done safely and appropriate exercises are followed. If you look at our booklet on Exercise and arthritis on the link http://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/PublicationsandResources/Listedbytype/Booklets
this will give you information about exercising when you have arthritis. However, you should always speak to your GP or physiotherapist before embarking on any exercise programme. I hope this has been helpful.
Best Wishes
Dawn
