knee giving way

Hello everyone, I hope you are all as well as can be despite the awful weather.
I haven't posted for a while but read the posts at least once a day. Busy getting ready for Christmas. My oldest daughter thought it would be nice if the whole family didn't descend on us this year so booked a house in France for all of us (fortunately not far from Calais). Am seeing my GP next week so will get well stocked up with meds so I can enjoy it.
My arthur hasn't been worse recently but have noticed in the last few days that my knee (the one that the arthur is worse in) keeps giving way sideways. I've fallen over once and nearly fallen several times and am now feeling like a right old crock and it's making me nervous, especially as our house has 4 flights of stairs.
Any advice please?

    Hi Maud
The holiday is a great idea. I have been away over Cghristmas before too and am this year. It' stops you running around after everyone :)
If you don't already you should think about a stick and if ion danger on the stairs have you two hanrails??? can you get two? If in real danger then 'bum' up and down.
I am sure you will mention this to your GP when you go.
    In the meantime
    Take care
    Love
    Toni x
