Hi
I have an appointment with a clinical psycholigist tomorrow morning.
I'm apprehensive 'cause I dont really know what to expect.
Some of you know that I had an accident last Dec. Crossing a little village road to the post offfice, 2 parked cars outside it, I passed behind one of them, he started and reversed hit me and went over my ankle and then drove over it for good measure.
I'm claiming against his insurance company and its them that have arranged this. I think the majority of it will be to do with the fact that if I'm walking through a car park and a car starts {could be the other side of the car park} I stiffen up with fear. I'm not as bad now as when i first mentioned this but it still affects me. I'm OK driving. Well as OK as I ever have been LOL
So wish me luck please. Dont know what will be asked and what to say.

    Hi

They may be checking to see if you have PTSD, depression that sort of thing as a result of your accident. If you have then they will have to pay out more. So they may ask you about having flashbacks, dreams, any triggers that set off any anxiety attacks, whether you need counselling.

Just answer the questions as best you can, good luck

    Hi
Well went to the clinical psychologist this morning. She was very nice.....hadnt got my medical notes??? and asked me to go over the accident for her and she asked questions along the way.l Basically it ended up with her saying that she would do a report but I was damaged physcally more than mentally....some would query that LOL  shes right...the only thing is I still stiffen up if a car starts up anywhere near me.
    So thats that one done.
No more appointments with anyone until January.
