Hello everyone

I have been far too busy at work, some days I don't even get a proper lunch break and so can't log on at work then I'm too tired in the evenings to come online and see how you're all doing. Our wireless internet thing isn't working, I need to get that fixed so I can curl up on the sofa with the laptop rather than sit at the desk.

I do try to log on as much as I can, I've made some good friends on here and feel I can turn to you all about anything anytime :-) Anyway, I'm going to stop drivelling and get on with my email. I have some questions I'd like you to answer honestly so we can all get to know each other a bit better:

1. How many kids/ grandkids do you have and what are their ages?

2. What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?

3. What was the last thing you did last night before going to bed?

4. Describe for me your favourite photograph and why it's your favourite

5. Do you "do" internet banking and bills?

6. What magazines and newspapers do you read?

7. When was the last time you sulked and what was the reason?

8. Have you put your xmas decs up yet?

9. Your favourite thing to watch on telly at xmas time?

3 daughters aged nearly 11, 7 and 6

2. What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?

Stretched because my ankles were sore

3. What was the last thing you did last night before going to bed?

Double checked the doors were locked and set the burglar alarm, then checked on the girls sleeping

4. Describe for me your favourite photograph and why it's your favourite

It's a photo of me, my brother and our 3 cousins, taken nearly 30 years ago. We are all standing in a row in the garden of our old house smiling at the camera and holding hands. It's on our mantlepiece and I love it because it shows a time when my life was free from worries and work and all the other stuff that get in the way. We haven't seen those cousins for years, by the way!

5. Do you "do" internet banking and bills?

Yes, I do it all online. Saves me queuing.

6. What magazines and newspapers do you read?

Woman every week and I like to read The Sun :-)

7. When was the last time you sulked and what was the reason?

I didn't get a job I applied for and the person who got it is an idiot.

8. Have you put your xmas decs up yet?

NO. Although the girls in my team at work have put them up there, to lots of protest from me.

9. Your favourite thing to watch on telly at xmas time?

The Royle Family. Classic stuff. And Only Fools and Horses.

10. Your favourite rude joke :-)

yes, if i can't get to the bank it the easiest way to stay in control

sadly not yet, but i'm sorting my lounge to make room for the tree today, yay!

the snowman! 'we're walking in the air!'

can't think of any, but what's black and white and red all over?

We have missed you too. I hope work settles down for you soon and you get some time off over Christmas.
1. 3 kids two at14 (one step) and one at 12 on weds. all girls
2. 1st thing this morning I played with Daisy the kitten because she purrs so loudly and i think she loves me which is very gratifying.
3. Had a wee
4. Lots of fav photos, but probably my wedding one with the kids on looking well - sweet and little!
5. I do bank on the net and other bills too
6. I read all the rubbish mags chat take a break etc. My Mum used to get them all and Charlie promised her when she died that she would carry on...!
7. I sulked at the weekend as my hubby was stoopid! I was right of course!
8. Christmas decs wait till after Lucy's brithday (see ques1)
9. I watch all TV over Christmas as much as poss but prefer comedies and soaps :oops:
10. Don't know any rude jokes - I am too innocent :oops:

We've missed you too, with your tales of the fire service and your lovely girls :!:

Here are my answers;

1. Twins, Philip and Sarah. 3 grand-daughters, Hannah 11, Emily 7,and Mary 5

2. !st thing I did was feed the cat

3. Last thing before going to bed was write my diary, so that when I'm famous, I will be able to remember what happened when.

4. Favourite photo. The twins with my in-laws when they were 3. The twins are playing on a slide in the garden, and my in-laws, who are both now dead, look so proud of them.

5. Yes, I do internet banking etc, with some help.

6. Used to read the Guardian, but it takes all day, so now have the Daily Mail, much to my shame.

7. Sulked when told off last night for staying on here too long :!:

8. No decs up yet :!: Too early :!:

9. Anything which makes me laugh.

Two daughters, Tracy and Dawn and 4 grandchildren, Rachael 11, Rebekah 8, Daniel 6 and Joshua 5.

Hi Nina,

It's not nice when you can't get time to yourself!!

1. 2 sons aged 24 and 20 (soon to be 21) No grandchildren that I'm aware of!!
2. Had a shower to waken me up
3. Looked out clothes for work
4.I detest having my picture taken and am not very photogenic, but my favourite is one of me taken with my boys when they were 18 months and 4.
5.Yes, I do internet banking
6. Woman & Home, local daily newspaper, and Scotland on Sunday
7. Not really much of a sulker - no point wasting time being in a sulk
8.Nope - too early
9.I like films like The Santa Claus and White Christmas. Not into repeats of Morecombe & Wise etc.
10. Don't know any - not because I'm a prude, I just can't remember them!!!
