rhumy nurse rang yesterday, turns out the pain in my hips isn't arthur at all but in fact i have tears in the cartilage of my hip joints! rhumy sending me to see a orthopedic surgeon! i was all set for her to say it was arthritis and it took my wind out of my sails when she told me what it was.
so good news is that arthur isn't spreading also good news is it looks treatable bad news it look like am having surgery.
the other question mark is how i've ended up with it? am guessing pregnancy. if anyone can shed any light i would be most pleased, ofcourse am aware this is a forum for arthritis

    Hi there
Saw a post with no replies!
anyway.....i have back problem (another story, another thread..) but i have had hip problems in that it feels like a knife grinding in the joints. This has never been investigated as for some reason scans etc always looked at my back. However, when i was pregnant, few years back, i had pains in my hips where i could hardly walk and was clinging onto walls. This pain was something from pregnancy which i cannot spell properly but its like pyfis pubis dyfunction, first word not spelt right at all. Anyway, i think pregnancy caused ligaments to weaken and then problems, i also think pregnanacy caused my back problem years later. i have spondylolithesis.
hope you get more helpful answers.
