Firstly never be sorry, you are not moaning. That is what this forum is for!
When I first started having problems with the arthritis I would get numb toes just the middle three. The sensationw ouldnt be completely gone but more like it felt odd. I could scratch the skin but it wouldnt hurt but I could still feel the pressure on it, hope that makes sense.
Since I staretd the steroids etc I havent felt anything since. My GP told me it was because of the inflammation in my hip and back which aggravated the nerves going into that leg causing the unusual feeling and sending the wrong nerve signals to the toes.

    Hi Rosy

I have lower back problems and have had tingling, numb toes, tingling and burning down the outside of the same leg and a pain in the butt. I have had some injections and the numbness went and since the last lot of injections, 4 months later, on Thursday, I have no pain at all. I am not holding my breath but it is fantastic to have no pain/pins and needles/burning sensation on standing and walking. I am making the most of it at the mo :D:)

    Look after yourself,

    Luv

    Hello Rosyred,

I was taking enbrel alonside mtx and my left arm and hand had pins and needles in them. After talking to consultant he took me off the enbrel.
    What meds are you on.

    Hi,
My left foot feels numb but it isnt....if I was to prick it with a sharp object I would feel it :( It also feels twice the size of the other foot....or the toes do anyway and a very funny sensation in them.
    Its not the sort of thing that is easy to explain.....when I pestered my doc about it he said it was probably to do with the nerves in that foot.....thats the foot that a car crushed {1 year ago yesterday :cry: }
    Sorry cant be more help
    Love
    Hileena

    Hello Rosyred.

Sounds like you should see your GP. Just so that he can do the necessary blood tests. You cannot rely on symptoms like that just being RA or similar. I have had similar tingling from time to time, but it is worse in my fingers than my toes. They just lock up and make me fall over. My husbands toes are numb because of diabetis so best check it out.

    All the best

Hi, I was told 3 months ago my hands and knuckles were swollen and that I had athritis which I took no notice of. Now my hands ache constantly, difficulty using them and opening certain objects, and lately getting pins and needles in hands. Went to see GP and she was not bothered much and just sent me.I understand if you dont get the problem seen o
to it can take ten years off your life? Anyway I am just going to carry on regardless because there are so many animals in the world suffering with pain to worry about myself. I refuse to take tablets for the problem as Athritis Research test in animals in Labs for this problem, so I will just have to get on with it!
