Brussels Tomorrow

I don't know if you remember a while ago that I mentioned I was going to the Christmas Markets in Brussels well I am off tomorrow morning. We are so looking forward to it.

Despite OH being told on Friday that he no longer had a job, he wasn't getting his salary owed to him we are still going it was all paid for and we would have lost out if we hadn't.

This has been a terrible year and I feel 79 not 39 and can't believe how my health has went down hill but I am determined to enjoy, frequent stops, painkillers and lots of chocolate should help. Determined to make this a lovely Christmas & romantic break for both of us.

But (there's always a but) I have managed to pull my shoulder and neck and I am in agony done it a couple of hours ago getting something out a cupboard, have plastered on movelat and have my wheat pack on it so hopefully it will ease off. Physio had told me there was damage but think I will need to get it checked out when i get home.

Anyway, going to make the most of this break and I wil bring you all back some virtual belguim chocs....

Love Anne

    Hi Anne

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's job, and also that you have a painful shoulder.

I really hope you will enjoy the Brussels markets. It is a super place to visit. A friend of mine lives there, and she gives me boxes of those gorgeous chocs. Wonderful :!: :!:

    Have a lovely time

    Thanks everyone.

I went a couple of years ago at Christmas and it was beautiful. I will be wrapped up nice and warm and will stop for plenty of rests.

There is an amazing chocolatier who has the most yummy dark chocolate, going to stock up. plus, think I will treat both of us to something nice.

Going to go and forget about the horrible year we have had and as Jan said, next year is a new year.

Oh, I'm envious Anne. Hope you have a lovely time and it marks the end of the bad times.
Sorry about the shoulder, but if it worsens, find a pharmacy over there and see what they say.

    Love
