it's broken again now, beyond a joke now.
the thermostat is stuck on full so i have a chioce of no heating and get cold or put on heating and be ridiculously hot.
our hot water is burning hot and if i do put the heating on the radiators are burning hot to, nice and safe with children around, not.
i terrified one of us are going to scald our hands under the hot water and as for the heat of the radiators, it's just awful, again!
the engineer came out yesterday and said theres another fault and we need a new thermostat because it's stuck solid.
i'm going to contact he housing association in a bit. even though i put in a complaint 2 weeks ago and they are supposed to respond within 10days, surprise they haven't!
any one got any ideas how i should take this further?
the central heating people are saying it's just a fluke that the heating has broken again, ok, i understand it's no one's fault, but i'm still not 100% it was right after they mened it last time as the hot water has been alot hotter since they fixed it, something i did bring up, but i was told that it would be fine once mended, but clearly not.
no sign of my £20 compensation yet either.
sorry to moan, but i'm fed up.

thats awful, not what i'd call a proper repair either.
maybe i should re name this post 'come here for a good moan', although maybe that sounds slightly rude, lol!

i spoke to my ha just now and although they agreed it wasn't good, basically they said regarding my complaint, the manager dealing with it is out of the office until monday, so someone should ring me monday, i won't hold my breath!
and regarding the heating, i was told by heating people that they would order the parts needed then once they had them they'd send me a card, when i get the card i can ring and make an appointment, so that tells me it won't be quick, after all with the christmas post i can see it taking longer for the card to arrive and also they are very busy, so the ha said that if by wednesday next week i haven't heard anything, i'm to call the ha and they will chase up the heating people.
i just don't like the heating being on so high. the radiators and hot water are both hot enough to burn, so i'm having to put the heating on for about 15 mins to get hot then turn it off, then back on for 15 as and when needed, hmm, very practical!

put towels on the radiators, will stop hands getting burnt but also hot towels after the bath!
