Fractured collar bone, fractured wrist and concussion, three days in the high dependency unit as I didn't wake up, 3 days in a orthopaedic ward, just released this morning, RA playing up all over, remind me not to be vain again!! what a christmas we are going to have love jaspercatxx

I don't know, what are we going to do with you????

How you feeling with RA as well? Did they have to operate on wrist or did it just go back easily?

You rest up and stay indoors. Let us know that you are ok.

I can understand why you wanted to ditch the wheelchair. It must be so annoying to have to use it sometimes. My mum used one and didn't like it very much. I hope you are feeling better now. Are you in plaster?

    My goodness Jaspercat!

You don't do things by halves do you? Malcolm must have been so worried about you. You don't have to go to those measures to get chocs and a bouquet - you know that!

Get well soon, Malcolm better chain you to the chair :lol::lol:

Hello, I'm so very sorry, what an awful time you'r having! :(
It must have given you such a shock and some more pain that you can do without. Hope that you will be able to get some rest now, before Christmas. Maybe its a lucky break, (pardon the pun), you will HAVE to rest and not overdo things.

Hope you will soon feel better, Love Sue :)

Hi, Malcolm called the on-call gp today, I am in so much pain and my joints have gone into flare too, they very kindly came out and gave me some Oramorph, it makes me really tired but at least it gets rid of the pain, I have an appt with the orthopaedic surgeon on wednesday, just to check my wrist I think, I will have to get a taxi because I can't drive love Jaspercatxx

Oh, Kim, you really are going through it, glad you've got some relief and not really surprised you've got a flare too. Hope you can get some rest and a bit of pampering wouldn't come amiss, either.
