Hello to All, I am in the process of a major flare up and am quite puzzled???? As we all know about the pain side of things does anyone else have the feeling they can feel there bones trying to change shape? In the film American Werewolf in London where the guy changes into the wolf and his bones crack and change, he rolls about in agony. Lying in bed awake (AGAIN) at night i can feel my bones wanting to change the pain is unbelieveable (as we all know). alas the lucky guy in the movie only has this once a month on a full moon. I have this Bas***d pain everyday...........
oh to be a werewolf how LUCKY that would be......

Hi John,
Sorry you are having a bad time there. I hope you have now got comfy and get a good night. I wonder f you can get some different pain relief from your gp?
I sometimes do feel my hip, especially the one most active, is coming out my skin and one of my femurs hurt. They say you can't feel the long bones but I do this one. I wonder if its cus I broke it really badly ears ago.
You take care and I really hope you have less pain soon Cris0 -
Hi Handsy,
I am trying to imagine this.I sometimes get a feeling from my new hip replacement, I can feel it and it feels different than my other bones. It is a strange feeling, heavy and If I sit or lie down I am aware of the replacement, but I dont get pain. With R.A, pain is pain and it is all bloomin awful.
I never seem to get sleep nowadays but it seems my body is getting so used to it all and has adapted.I cant bear going back to bed and going through the aches and pains again.
Not many replies to this post so I think you are alone on this score!
Take care
