Hi
When I first joined this forum, last February, one of the first people to welcome me was Colin.
Subsequently, I discovered what a kind and supportive person he is, always there for me and other people whenever we needed a friend. I also discovered his wonderful Liverpudlian wit, and his posts always had me laughing.
Then we got the bad news that Colin was seriously ill, and he could no longer post on the forum as he had done previously. Since then, we have all missed him tremendously, and heard very little about his progress.
So imagine how thrilled I have been recently, firstly to receive bithday wishes from him, and then yesterday to see him posting on two of my threads. It really made my day :!:
Colin, if you read this, you are greatly missed by me and all, so we hope you are feeling OK, and it would be lovely if you are well enough to post us from time to time.
All the best

Joan / guys i hardly know what to say, my head wont fit through the door. Where all the same here and i only hope that i have been able to give the amount of suppoert i have recieved from you guys. I miss you all very much and hope to make a full return in the new year.
Quick update on my health, Well i'm still breathing only just LMAO
Pneumonia has left me with some black scars on my lung and its looking now like its that thats causing the breathing problem and not my heart. I had another stent put in the front of my heart last Wednesday its helped with the chest pain and dizzyness and i feel much better. I have had my PC moved down from the top of the house to next door to my bedroom on the second floor so should start using it more shortly. Thank you all so much. Joan i saw your slide show and Josephs what a great artist he is. I was thinking of buying kay some art stuff for christmas she is great at drawing, me i cant draw the curtains, Funny the kids all take after her. Well i see lots of new names ill get to know you all soon. Just thought i might tell you all im now a none smoker since 5 July i'm good but still want to kill something catch you all soon

Hello Colin
I must have known that you were going to post tonight, because I was just about to switch off when something drew me back, and I found it was you :!:
What great news that you will hopefully return to the forum in the New Year :!: I can't wait :!:
I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better since you had the stent put in. You really have been through the mill one way and another. I do hope your health improves now. Well done about the smoking, by the way :!:
I'm glad that you saw my slide show, so now you can put a face to my name. Also Joseph's art work. To see it in reality is even better!
Another coincidence is that I have just started a new thread about friendship, and it is so relevant to you. You are a true friend to me, and many others.
Happy Christmas, Colin, and good health in the New Year.
