Went out last weekend wasnt drinking but my friend was slipped went flying and landed on my arm which was resting on the edge of a worktop. Ive had a big bruise on my arm any idea what I can put on it to get rid of it. Got a Christmas do in a couple of days. Its been over a week and its not going. Also noticed that I have got a lump where the bruise is on my arm between my elbow and hand and its been achy. Thanks

    Hi

You could try Arnica, that brings a bruise out. I cannot think of anything to get rid of it.

There is some cream that is supposed to cover all blemishes and spider veins that might do it.

You might get it in a chemist, I don't know for sure though. I think it might be a make up product.

If I remember the name I will let you know. Try Googling it.

    Hello Jennifer

I always keep the arnica in my first aid box. I tripped badly one day in our shower, some 2 months ago now. Not satisfied with doing it once, had to do it again next day. This left me with a very swollen middle toe (which is still swollen to this day). I tried arnica and it helped my toe change colours many times. It does bring the bruising out quickly. Butter is suppose to do the same thing.

If your friend gave your arm a good thump then there will be considerable muscle damage for awhile. May have to check it out with your GP if it doesn't disappear. It will take awhile though.
