I don't know if anyone watched Susan Boyle later in the evening on ITV
What a lovely story. What a woman.
I have bought her CD, and we listened to it on the way back from Norfolk yesterday.
I loved it when she said "I brush up well, don't I?"

    I saw the programme, and Susan is an inspiration, isn't she? I have the CD, and she sings with such emotion, it gives me goose bumps.

    I think the best thing is that it has taught Simon Cowell a lesson about humility, and not to judge people by appearances. He has admitted his failings in this before Susan came along.

    Yes I agree Joan.

    When they show the bit when Susan first comes on stage, they show a glimsp of a girl in the audiance giving a sidesways scowl to her friend in the seat next to her and then the camera showed Simon Cowell with the same scowl to the others. And then she sang, we all felt it. But if we didn't have Utube, internet, etc etc, then this phernominan(?) just would not have happened, perhaps. A bit more slowly, maybe!!
    Perhaps a lot of you might think me sad, but I have joined her fan club

    Magical story isn't it. I find her facinating, loved her singing with Elaine Paige. I actually cried when Susan recieved the award.

    Treated myself to the CD when it first came out and it still makes me cry. Wild Horses and I Dreamed a Dream are an emotional rollercoaster (specially if you have seen Les Miserables). Wonderful voice that is truly a gift.

    what a great woman an insperation to us all and that voice is so nice hard to believe it comes fronm her.
