Was yesterday - haven't had SO much fun for ages, that includes the night out I had with some work mates on Friday night.

There was a disco with proper dancing songs and games and then a loverly tea. After which, Santa arrived on a FIRE ENGINE! It was very exciting. It's the 2nd one I've been to and I took my friend and her daughters along.

I was most proud to tell everyone that I've taught my daughters most of their dance moves - they're really funky dancers, they THROW themselves into dancing and having a good time like there's never going to be another opportunity to have a good time ever again, which is exactly how I approach parties. I even sufficiently embarrassed my eldest enough to make her sit down and refuse to dance with me :-)

Got them home at 6:30pm after helping clear up, and they were exhausted. It was quite funny them asking to go to bed earlier than usual!

It was also a good weekend all round. Less stiffness than I've been getting recently and I got most of my xmas shopping done and most of my presents wrapped. All xmas cards have now been written. SUCH a sense of achievement!

How's everyone else doing? All ready for xmas?

    Wow Nina
I remember the children's Christmas parties at Moulton Fire Brigade when I was working there. I remember having to wrap all the pressies up. Even I couldn't recognise who was Santa. And the Fire Engine was great. It usually did a round of the town aswell with Santa on it.

Yes, they were great, but then, Fireman always know how to put on a good do, everytime.

O I bet everyone enjoyed themselves so much. What a nice start to Christmas.

These Firemen, do so much, in their spare time. We only get to hear about it from people like yourself.

Could Santa's little Christmas Elf have sprinkled some magic on your joints, easing them for you to enjoy this????

Nina, have a wonderful Christmas, All the best for the New Year, just in case I don't get to see you.

    love Trish xxx
