This is how I feel tonight. My step mum told me tonight my amazing Dad is finally losing his long battle with cancer this Christmas.

    I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Dad last year but it was sudden.

    Savour every moment you can with him, support each other but also look after yourself which I know will be hard as you will want to be there for your dear Dad.
    Please post on here when you feel up to it, we will be here for you

    All I can say is hide your tears, and share your smiles. It will be one of the hardest things you will ever do though.......Much love......Ange.

    Hi Pennie,
    I feel what you are going through, I nursed my mum and dad through cancer, sadly they died a few years ago, it will be hard, but with everyones support you will get through this.
    Do talk about it when you need to, and like someone else said,
    make sure you look after yourself.

    Don't worry over me. Just try and enjoy the time you have left with your dad.

    Tell him how much you love him, make a little list and tell him everything you want him to know.

    So many people wish that, they had had time to say this and that.

    We are all here for you Pennie, lean on us if you need to.
