Hi
Not that much here at the moment in Northamptonshire. Felt a few snowflakes about lunchtime and whilst I was delivering a few cards, but that's all.
First time for ages that I went for a walk round the neighbourhood on my own. All my cards were for a 1/4 mile radius prob less than that, but gosh do I ache now. I was shuffling in the end and getting cold becaused I couldn't walk fast. I was slowly seizing up as I went. It has not been much above 2 degress here all day.
Hope you are all managing to keep warm.
love from
Joy Big groupy hug to keep warm, yes??0 -
Hi, no snow in Macclesfield, yet, hopefully we won't get too much, it is alright on christmas cards, bitterly cold though love Jaspercatxx0

Hi one and All
Don't worry we don't get that much. It might mean it is on it's way. I just hope everyone gets where they are going safely.

It is FREEZING in Bucks!!! No snow, just grey, wet, freezing weather and my knee HATES it!!!
Boris the cat came in this morning like he'd been mud wrestling - he is black and white (more white than black) and he is FILTHY - goodness knows what he has been doing. He heads off to fields near our house and is a real explorer. I've sponged him down and he seems fine, not injured just extremely dirty and now the dirt has dried in big tufts!!
OH went to the shops as he is off work today and I asked him to bring a treat back - so I have a big bag of Mint Aero bubbles, a huge block of Dairy Milk, some Fudge fingers and a bag of cookies!! OMG!!! When I was training hard I could eat stuff like that all day long, but now I'm needing to be a lot more careful - he is a naughty influence! (OH = 6 foot 3, skinny, not fair!!!)
Well done on the card delivery Joy, brave in this weather. I walked round for about 40 mins yesterday in freezing London and my knee throbbed - even the warm sock round it didn't keep it warm :-(
Hope people are wrapping up warm, make today a duvet day!!

Hello everyone.
What a horrible grey damp cold day. Raining from time to time.
We were up early to get DiL to Leicester Infirmary. Took a lot longer than normal - why is it so long waiting for medicines - mind you - she had a carrier bag full in the end.
Her appointment was 9 45 a.m. so we were up really early and we didn't get her home until nearly 2 p.m. It was too late to get to my art session so we went to a huge garden centre near here where they have had an ice skating rink put in - all the children were skating round while we sat down to a nice cup of hot choc and a maple and pecan pie slice - hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Then spent a fortune and got home a few minutes ago. Just trying to warm up now. Feeling very tired but happy that we had a good day with DiL, poorly as she is.
