    Hi Lizzie,

I'm not new here but I don't post very often.

I'm 28 and have JIA, so it's kind of like RA.

I hope you get lots of support from this site.

    Sally.

    Welcome Lizzie

Nice to have a new 'face on the forum; I'm on MTX but not the other. Hope you are not experiencing problems. What dosage are you on and do you have tablets or injections? Sorry about the questions, but everyone has such a wide section of side affects and probs sometimes.
Hope you can find answers on the forum. Many of us can help to a point with our own experiences but we are all different when it comes to medications. What suits some do not suit others.
The Helpline can always give advice too.
The Chit Chat is good. Helps the imagination  of which I am a bit slow sometimes.
Glad to have you on board, good luck

    Hi Joyful

Thanks for your welcome message and question re MTX.

I take Methotrexate tablets 25mg a week. which I take on a Monday night and feel very weak and fatigued the day after.
I have also come out on bruises on my left leg which keep coming and going I was at the Rheym clinic today and they said they thought it was due to Methotrexate, but they didnt seem sure, and I think its wierd that its confined to one leg. I wonder if anyone else here has had bruising with MTX. My platelets and coagulation readings are normal.
