Hi Everyone of you lovely people

I just got home today after 9 days in
    hospital getting the new hip.

Have 17 staples holding me intact
but at least I dont have the orrid pain
that I did, and can walk albeit gingerly
on two crutches and I feel ok.

So thank you all for your good wishes.
I have missed you although I will just have
to take care of how much time I sit here for a
    while.

    bye for now
    and Happy New Year

Welcome home Kath! Hope you are following all the physios advice & are going steady. It is so lovely to get out & home after so long in hosp isn't it? Listen to your body & any worries, just call the ward you were on as it is so near to discharge I'm sure they'll be pleased to help. It is usually the physios you need to speak to.

    Dear Kath

Replied to your PM. Wonderful to hear you are back home and the awful, nagging pain has gone, not before time, aye?

Be a good girl now and I am so happy for you, that you will get your life back again and be able to carry out those new year resolutions.

    Loads of love
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.
