Hi all,
well today we took the few decorations down that we had up, and tidied up the living room. Dusted down the ornaments on the mantle & cleaned the piano. that's about it ...... and I feel like I have run a marathon.
I didn't even do all this on my own, we did it together so that I wouldn't overdo it. Well I feel like I would have trouble fighting my way out of a paper bag
I don't know if it is the snow being here again, or whether the fact that I wasn't able to fit in the full doses of Ibuprofen & co-codamol yesterday that hasn't helped.
whatever it is, I think I will be hibernating soon and hoping tomorrow isn't as bad as the weather forecast promises.
OH for Spring ....... or at least for rain rather than ice and snow

You have done well. The cold doesn't help and makes you tired. Just thinking makes me tired
If you feel like sleeping, then carry on, I won't mind

Hi Wonkey

Hi Wonky,
Sorry you are feeling like this today, I know where our coming from and wonder if maybe its cus you have done so much recently? You have had a lot of stress over Christmas, an awful lot and many sudden changes can't have helped.
Tell Little Legs to look after you and he will be up later..... That normally acts as a quick cure
Seriously though just take it easy and hopefully you will be ok again after a bit of a rest. Luv slurps and ((( ))) Cris xx0 -
just ask my hubby - thinking is the most tiring thing in the world as far as he is concerned
Tree? You are joking ...... we didn't get a tree up this year, so at least there wasn't one to put away
just been sorting cards and finding homes for everything new. Dusting (for the first time in Months   ) that sort of thing.
off to get a cuppa now. Might pop on later but if not will pop in tomorrow.
hugs to you all

you're probably right Cris - it is just so frustrating when the mind, for once, is feeling strong then the body is giving in
guess you know that feeling eh?
Have put locks on the fridge just in case, and will gladly accept his help as 'nurse'0 -
H Wonky,
I am horrified deep down at how much f a hold this bone thing is getting on me...... I think in my case denial is part of my cope I had trouble peeling spuds and a turnip yesterday! How dare it do that to me
Yu just take it easy and don't ever forget in your mind your free..... If you want to pop out you can and your best friend is always your imagination...... Just sometimes its not in a good mood
Take it a bit easy and can you give your mind a 'job' while your body has a rest? Luv Cris xx He's on his way...... xx0 -
Hi Wonky
Take care. You have been having such a busy time over Christmas, guess you need to catch up on some rest now. More snow here this afternoon too and I am well fed up of it now.
I don't have a problem with Christmas decs as I don't bother putting 'em up  Well no one else will see 'em and I am usually away so hardly seems worth it but I know what you mean about the cards and the dusting!!
Sending hugs, hope you feel better soon.

Hi Wonky, sorry your suffering at the mo.
I think most of us have suffered 1 way or another over xmas & new year. I know ive had more than my fair share.
I think the stress hasnt help you or the travelling. Stress can do strange things to us.
You take some time to rest now & be kind to yourself.
I have to rest when my body needs it & b....r the housework, chuck something in the oven for tea & no1 seems to mind.
Take care (((())))

Hello, You make me feel lazy. My decs are still up and the dust is gathering around them....
Don't overdo things, the weather being so snowy and cold. We have had fresh snow today, although not very much yet!
Decs will come down next week before 12th night!
Take care of yourself, after all it'll still be there tomorrrow. Ahh, yes maybe I should make a start.....
Love Sue0 -
Hi Wonky
It probably all the worrying about Christmas, buying prezzies, getting xtra shopping, cooking ect.

Hi , I have not been on the site for AGES . Had second hip replacement , first one still slipping sometimes , knee got to be done but will not risk it yet ,for at least a year they said ,so got swollen knee, my toes hurt and are on fire , my fingers swollen and painful, my neck ......... blimey i could go on, but wont lol, so tired but can not sleep more than couple hours at a time , flat a mess as no energy to tidy up , seem to make more mess then anyway, taken to not going to bed every night and sleep on my nice new big sofa, so can at least watch tv if can not sleep, but try not ot do that often, am thinking of going into hibernation from Nov to April as it hurts to much to do any thing ,but hey we still here ,
Twice in two years had PEs and nearly died ,so even with this pain i know i M ALIVE I can talk to my grandkids ,and my kids , i can cry as David Tennant left Doctor Who . My eldest is pregnant with her 3rd child this time by IVF so going to be a nanny again. You see i try to counteract my pain with a happy thought . this will see me through till the warmer weather when ii hope we all do not hurt so much , we see alight at the end of the tunnel , and may even get round to putting the xmas tree in the garage .Happy new year ,
sorry waffle over , xxxxxxx0 -
HI all,
well as usual you are all right and I find myself smiling as I read the very good advice that I know I need ..... and that I have given to others at different times too
had a more relaxing day - decided not to go to church partly because felt so achy, but also as there was more snow overnight which had frozen. Got up later and tried to take littlelegs for a walk ....... managed 200 meters before turning back for home. It was just ice on top of ice, and even the dog couldn't keep her feet. We slithered home whilst others strode past us seemingly impervious to the perilous conditions    which makes me wonder who is the daft one .... me for taking care and being a bit scared of slipping, or them for blithely stepping out with out a care in the world? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?
strange world eh? talking of strange worlds, glad someone else enjoyed Dr Who (watched it again today), although I will miss DT as he has made a superb Dr. Now that would be one Dr we would all be queuing up to see methinks?!
anyway, quiet day planned again tomorrow, although i will have to try to do a walk as hubby is back to work in the morning. may just sit down and let littlelegs pull me along0 -
