Hi Val, hope all goes well for you.

Am feeling the same  Have had a good long break too from my part time jobs and am absolutely dreading tomorrow. With the weather so bad here, we still have snow I haven't even been out for a stroll since New Years Eve and tomorrow I have to be on my feet for 8 hours  at that factory!!! I've been so much better while I have been off work and just know I will be back to crawling up the stairs on my hands and knees when I get home tomorrow. It will be nice to see people again and it really won't be busy but this time I am actually quite scared of how this year will end up! :? Sorry Val, I shouldn't be ranting on chit chat with this but you kind of left a door open for me here.

Really hope those of you back tomorrow or indeed already are not having too bad a time of it. Guess all the school uniforms are being ironed too and it wil be the devils own job getting the kids to bed at a reasonable hour  Good luck everyone.

I don't know whether I am looking forward to going back to work or dreading it! Bit of both, I suspect.
Hopefully when I finish work in 10/11 weeks time it will be Spring! YeeeHaaaar!

    Hi Val,

Hope work is okay. Like you, I enjoy the social aspect - most of my colleagues are good to be around. I hate going to work in the dark and going home in the dark. But I'm glad, at least, that I have job. We have a Lottery syndicate but haven't won much. But you have to be in it to win it so we'll keep buying the tickets!!

Take it easy and don't do too much too soon!!

Haven't got a garden now, Val, but will have one - a small one - when we move and it is one of the things we are looking forward to. I'm stopping work partly because of the house move and partly because I felt (long before we knew about the house move) that one more winter was the best I could do. We will also be near the seaside and there will be lots and lots more shops to look round!

the sea side is lovely no matter what time of year. and a small garden best more time to enjoy it less time spent working in it.

Hope your first day back went OK Val? If the weather is as bad there, the walk to work was quite a challenge in itself on the icy pavements  Take care.

Thanks for the above thought Jan, I'll look out for those insoles, have not seen them. Am usually in trainers and padded socks, but every little helps.
