No sense of humour allowed i see, to make peeps laugh is a crime on here, what a bunch of morbid moderators, laughing takes your mind off pain, and is better than any medication, with no side effects but........... it seems the new rule on here is ONLY post if you want to have a moan

Not quite sure what has happened but I concur with Joan & Rob

As I have found out, we are all allowed to moan, but we are allowed to laugh as well.

Daimler, we know you are not a newbie, and laughter definately is one of the best tonics. Whether some of the posts are in the class of humerous is a personal decision.

The mods on here are great, many giving up their time voluntarily to trawl through all the posts. I go with them every time with their decisions. I do not like to read negatives against such genuine, good people.

    Best wishes to you all,
    Elna x

I am very unhappy that people have been made to feel uncomfortable due to this, and other, threads. The forum should be a safe and pleasant place for everyone, which is why the rules and regulations are in place. Everyone who is a forum member has signed that they agree to these rules

We ask that you are considerate of one another, and of the people who may not be members and are just browsing, and do not forget that people will have a lot of different beliefs and backgrounds

I hope that it is now possible to draw a line under this unfortunate incident.

The Mods on these Forums have been a pleasure to get to know over Christmas.

They joined in with the fun, and their input was greatly appreciated by many of us.

things can upset people and put them off coming on sight and none of us wish that as we all need to come and chat some people do not set foot out the door this weather and this is the only contact with others they get so would not wish to make them feel this is not the sight for them. as for the mods they do a great job it not easy to work out how far to let things go and if they get it wrong they say sorry which i think takes corauge (sorry can not spell) so thanks for making this a great place to meet and make friends
