    Hi Chrisov,

I am sorry your so down and feeling rough with a flare. Not the best way to start a new year. Try and rest and keep warm and I shall send you a ton of hope that tomorrow will be the day the flare backs off.

I had my neck re-done on thursday and for the first time ever it was done through the side. Its better in terms of the pulling about they have to give you and I don't know if you have gone for your yet but it might be worth seeing if it can be done through the side instead for you. It does make you look like you been bit by a vampire though  Toni is waiting for me to turn into one

I really hope you will feel much better soon and don't worry about the job for a min, your allowed a few days off for illness and fingers crossed thats all it will be. ((( ))) Cris x ... and please let us know when your neck is being done and I hope it works this good or better for you.

    HI Chrisov,

sorry to hear that you are having a flare right now - a few of us are feeling it now with Christmas having gone and the cold still being here. Doesn't really go well with arthur does it?!

As for work, they will have to cope without you - you are not the first person to be ill, and you can't do the job if you are not well, so don't stress about it .... (easier swaid than done I know  )

hope you get a break soon and that arthur gets the message and hides for a while.

    hugs
    WOnky

if it is of any consolation, , whilst I am retired, and live alone and contented, if I had to work, I would be quite unable to work as standing or any prolonged movement would be impossible due to the osteo. it would cripple me after a while!!!
so, at least you are able to make the effort. maybe things are not so bad for you if you compare it to others.
whilst this is no consolation as far as your flare up goes, I do wonder if when the body reacts like this, it is in its own way, trying to correct itself. maybe you are able to control it by medication? diclofenic works miracles for me.
I still do as much walking as I can as i love the country, but these days my long treks are confined to memory. maybe in summer when it is warm???

anyhow, I hope your flare up abates, and the cold weather comes to an end soon,

    best wishes,

    Nick
