Ok, my knee is killing me, I'm still awake so here goes!:

1: The song "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel: My Mum sang in jazz clubs & made a recording of this on '78 shellac.

2: My, occasionally, skew-wiff sense of humour!

3: My Mum - we both loved the romantic & the ridiculous.

well I managed to sleep, thanks to a Lemsip max strength.

Anyway I thought I would answer your questions

1. Classical Music and the Ballet Mum Loved it.
2. Music of the 1940's big bands etc. Dad was a musician and I grew up with Glen Miller, Gracie Fields etc. (as well as Mum's classical stuff - God! no wonder I am so confused Lol)
3. My Dad I think. Strong willed when it is needed.
4. Apart from my hubby, my wonderful Grandsons all three of them.
5. Absolutely Nobody.

It seems I wasn't the only one still awake.

I like asking questions, because you are never sure what answers you will get.

The one about who would you like to adopt is interesting. I would adopt so many children that the house would be bursting at the seams.

I already adopted my twins, and it is the best thing I've ever done in my life.

I think you are a very lucky lady, to have had the opportunity to adopt. When I was younger maybe I would have done if things had gone that way, but now - no - it would not be fair to the child.

Fabulous Indian cooking. She's the best cook in the world (except for pakoras, Dad makes those best)

i had a bad night last night, couldn't get comfy as my shoulders / arms hurt, hubby was restless (but blamed me for him not settling, hmm, no!) then at 2am, when i actually managed to get to sleep, my eldest woke me up because she felt sick, she was sick then felt better and went to sleep, but by the time i'd cleaned up the sick i was wide awake again, woohoo, not!
so heres me sleepy answers

1. my posh talking!! so my hubby say's!

2. my attempt at fixing stuff and d.i.y, except he's good at it and i am not, so always ask him for help!

5. not so much who, but what! a cute cat i saw on a animal rescue site, he looked so grumpy that i fell in love instantly!

Thank you for your answers. They are all very interesting.

But only 9 out of 10 for you, Rehab, because the question was WHO makes you feel great, not WHAT.

Well, here we go.

1. Everything I do reminds me of my mother
I always think, what would she do in this situation?

2. I use to live 10 miles from here and my father was an architect for the council, so all the council Houses I see in the towns and villages remind me of him because it was his job, after WWII, to get as many Council Houses built.
3. I think I am most like my Mother, which is strange, because I was adopted, yet I have the same health problems that she had.
4. The person who makes me feel great at the moment is my Art mentor. He has made me believe in myself.
5. Anyone on the forum who needs a mother, who needs a bit motherly hug.

Your answer about your mother is the same for me. Even though she has been dead for 20 years, I can still hear her voice in my head.

Sorry I forgot to quote your questions and now can't remember 'em except the first one.

My nieces did the Chrimbo dinner this year a great success apart from the stuffing balls which were a tad over done!!. Nevertheless we later had a game of stuffing ball cricket in the kitchen The stuffing ball survived several wacks with a rolling pin, but sadly the kitchen clock had to be put down!!!

Oh it did so remind me of my mum and her ability to make every little disaster fun.
