I visited doctors had word with secretary and they have dropped fees and i will discuss what will go in doctors report for my incapacity appeal. I also have had a pathway to work interview appointment come through and another questionairefor limited capacity for work. As you are aware i have had my money taken off me. No word about how my appeal aplication is going or if i will be entitaled to esa. Because i have no money i sent in sick note saying i am unwell this covers me until february like i was asked to by welfare rights so ensure i get my benefit entitlement. I at the moment have high blood pressure and headaches and feel stressed. I am resting and takeing paracetamols. This note saying i have to attend pathways interview has confused me as if i have sick note that means i am ill surely they cannot expect me to go when i am ill or do i have to ask the doctor to write another sick note to them. I do not feel well enough to work so why are they hounding me anyone got any advice please joanne
Joanne

Hi, I've had one Pathway to Work interview and have to go for a second on Thursday. Its just the way they work, they dont' communicate with the ESA people at this stage. I don't know why, all I know is that they were very nice to me and it was just a 'tick box' exercise. They knew I could'nt work then and so did I and made no suggestions to make yet, although did talk about some of the help they give. Make sure you tell them how ill you are and that you are appealing the esa decision.

I hope all goes well for you. Its such a pain all these hoops that we have to jump through! I am really tired and have had no energy today, as the emotional strain of the esa medical that has knocked me out, as well as the 30 mile round trip in icy conditions!

Hope all goes well for you. I'm glad your doctor has dropped the ridiculas fee! GOOD LUCK Sue

Hi Joanne, Good luck with the Tribunal and also the Pathways to work interview, I had to go to a Pathways interview when I first applied for ESA even before my ESA medical, I found the Pathways interview ok, they just wanted to know how I was, a bit about my condition etc.

Who are Welfare Rights how would I get in touch with them if I needed too re my own case.

I went to doctor and he said that the hospital have never sent blood tests. He needs them to assess me so i had to take one taxi to docs then to the nearest hospital then home again. That cost 16 quid and the weather here like everywhere was atrocious.
All i saw today was elderly vulnerable people who would have been better staying in today at docs and coming to hospital rather than being out slipping and sliding every where.
The doctor has given me a form to fill and i have to go back next week to see him. He was really nice though. I am tired but my headaches have gone feel ok today thanks for replys from joanne

I found welfare rights info at local child centre they help people get benefits and make sure they are treated right and will act as an advocate for you. They are a free none profit makeing organization set up by government and local councils to help people. The cab is also good and works the same. I had been referred to welfare rights by going to a childrens centre in my area. They are in phone book and the childrens information servace will also have a number for them. Good luck with your esa thing from joanne :D

    Hi Joanne,

I like the sound of snow chickens....... :D Mine are in cus they get such cold feet and then hunch up. I will have to let them out to give them clean sheets but then I think they will happily go back in  Do yours try and peck at falling flakes?

I hope they will let you keep trying and you know to me esa etc should just be automatic...... You hang in there and Luv and a ((( ))) Cris xx
